As you can see Firefox had a major logo change from 2002 to 2003. This was due to trademark issues so the change had to be made. From 2003 to now there was just a slight change of light or a glare look which was not major. They did this change to show that differences between the oceans better. I do like the newest change because it looks like the logo is more 3D.
